Autumn Dreaming

Fall is here again!

Sometimes I think that this is my favorite time of year. We just came back from a trip to the upper peninsula of Michigan and stayed along the shore of lake Superior. We had every kind of weather it seemed, from foggy and misty to sunny and brisk. The lake was broody and choppy with large swells from far away storms.Image

I was inspired to bring that color and sense of motion back home with me. Soon the colors will creep south to my hometown, but in the meantime, I will be satisfied with wearing them on my person as an adornment and tribute to autumn in the Midwest.
