fall is fast upon us and I wonder -Where does the time go?

Fall colors are starting to appear and the days are getting brisk and dry. Great weather for walking and and gardening. I recently went to the dog park with my faithful hound Winnie. We saw some lovely red Sumac and some late season flowers.

All these pretty reds and purples put me into a fall mood and I started making some jewelry inspired by fall colors.

First, I wove up a bunch of fall colored chokers in brown, autumn yellow and purple.

I finished this one with dark brown leather buttons to compliment the root-beer brown beads in the center. I love the autumn oak leaf colors in this necklace.

Next, I made a wide 5 layered Tila bead cuff in dark brown and bronze.

I followed this up with a couple of diagonal weave bracelets in bronze, copper and yellow.

I love this woven Czech glass necklace! It has all my favorite autumn colors in warm fall tones.

Autumn also has a lot of purple to admire. I took these photos on my patio in the early morning while the dew was still on the blooms:

I was reminded of caterpillars rushing to turn into butterflies before the seasons ends.

Happy fall everybody! My next post will feature some of the beauty of the north woods in fall. Stay tuned!!
