Happy Holidays Everybody!
Oh man, the last month of 2014 sure was dark and dreary! Where I live, it rained on and off for what seems like weeks. I went to work in the dark, came home in the dark, and on the weekends, nothing but rain. Then a miracle occurred! The sun finally came out on Dec 26’th and I found myself instantly energized!
I have made a few things since then (squeezed in between feasts, family gatherings, travel – you know, the usual holiday madness!
This is my first ever Chan Luu Bracelet. I made it with graduated sizes of Jasper gemstones. A good first effort, I know I will get better at this!
This is a leather woven knot that I made into earrings (more difficult that the Chan Luu by far!)
I did a few of these undulating woven bracelets using Czech Tila beads
This one uses 3mm crystals for a little bling!
This one uses all of my “lonely only” Tilas in a nice colorful patchwork design:
This one uses the smaller regular Tila beads instead of the heavier Czech glass Tilas
I also started using Super Duos in my weaving as well. I made a woven mesh that I took apart because I did not like the colors! Then I did this bracelet:
Well, I hope to have more to show off soon. I am starting another new weave today. I will keep you posted!
I just wanted to let everybody know that I have added another blog to my crazy list of online presences. The new blog is devoted solely to featuring my bead weaving, whereas this one will remain my primary blog, and will continue to document all of my beading creations and craft fair activities.

Love to all,
The last of the craft fairs of the season have come and gone. I am ready to start all over for next year! It was really a great year, and I got to meet so many nice people. I am ready do it all over again. Can you believe this: I was at the dentist, trying not to think about what was going on in my mouth, and I began to plan new necklaces and bracelets in my head. The hour went SUPER fast!!
Here I am with my new and improved smile…
I did manage to finish up a couple of necklaces that I had been working on prior to a rather difficult fall season. Thanksgiving was wonderful, and I have to admit I have never been more thankful for the health and happiness of those I love as I was this year.
This is the purple weave necklace that I posted earlier this fall. I dyed the buttons and finished it with gunmetal chain.
This is the completed Golden Harvest woven choker. I finished it with fancy gold buttons dyed lightly purple to reflect the AB finish of the 4 mm square beads.
This last necklace I made just today. It features creamy white shell disks with large red dyed quarts chips. The dangle features a large vintage shell topped with green jasper and another white shell round topped with a tree of life medallion. I used super heavyweight nylon coated wire and a sturdy toggle clasp.
Gotta go now. Time to decorate for the holidays! Have fun everybody, and see you soon!
