Hi there everybody!
I have not posted in a very long time. I have been busy making jewelry and adding to my arts offerings by expanding my photography business (Ardea Blue Photography)
I am now in the midst of the pre holiday season Blitz!
I am doing a combination of jewelry shows and photography exhibits, which you cab see by looking at my upcoming events side bar.
My latest jewelry forays include LOTS of bracelets and Necklaces, as you can see below:
I love this beautiful etched Czech glass Tila bead. I accented it with purple glass pearls and seed beads. SO pretty!
I Also fell in love with these new Z shaped beads, but could only find them in this unusual color. Luckily, I had some matching Tila beads to go with it:
I had some fun selling things, Believe it or not, I now have about twice as many as seen in this picture!
Like these for example:
In between all these projects, I did a lot of traveling and took a lot of pictures. My love of nature has always inspired my jewelry, especially in regards to color and shape. You can see how my artistic endeavors intertwine in the following photographs:
Come on out and see my jewelry in December and my photography as well in Nov and December!
Weaving is my main obsession! I can start weaving in the afternoon, get into the zone and look up to find that it is past midnight!
Lately, I have been doing a lot of super duo and Tila bracelet designs.
I love playing with the pattern and colors
I found a new pattern that I love!
I have also been doing a lot of Herringbone with super duos as well. I just love the way they look when using the herringbone weave!
I am getting ready for the season, and trying to build up stock. I splurged on red Creek Jasper at our local bead show and had a lot of fun combining it with other stones and with Czech glass.
Love the pendants! I also liked how the African Turquoise complimented the Jasper.
I have a great fondness for Czech glass. I particularly love these cupped half circles. I enjoy stacking them so that they resemble armadillo armor! They seemed to like the Red Creek Jasper and looked quite nice together.
How I love to see the greening of the world after a long winter of muted whites and greys. The colors of nature in spring inspire me ceaselessly.
The whisper of spring ephemerals….
The riot of the spring garden….
The soft blue skies of a warm new day….
The green of new leaves and ponds….
Keep on beading!
